The Strathmore Neighborhood is located in the Southwest section of the City. It is primarily a residential neighborhood of single-family homes with unique styles of architecture. The Strathmore area has many mid-20th century residential houses and sensible streets lined with magnificent trees. The Summit Avenue area also contains several grand late 19th and early 20th century brick and stucco dwellings. The neighborhood is also home to Onondaga Park, one of the most beautiful of all Syracuse Parks.
