Siur - A remote village in Nawada District of Bihar...named after "Shiv's Ur" i.e. Lord Shiva's Heart.....This village was first got connected via road in 1986. Prior to that the only way to reach Siur was Bullock Cart, which used to cross Sakri River..Now this no-electricity village can boast of road accessibity but the condition of road and transport is pathetic...This village has cosmopolitan caste nature and celebrates all major festivals including surya-puja ie CHHATH.
