Streit Group vehicles have demonstrated the ability to protect against IED (Improvised Explosive Devices) in many attacks, protecting the occupants. Our armored 'box within a box' design creates an extremely strong internal protection compartment which has proven to resist IED attacks.

A common practice is to attack and disable the vehicles tires.
Streit Manufacturing uses run flat inserts in all tires as standard protection from this type of attack which allows a vehicle to continue driving even after a severe tire damage, up to 50km.

At times, attackers will attempt to disable a vehicle by targeting the engine. Streit Manufacturing Inc. can provide additional protection with the addition of Ballistic grille guards, which would protect radiators and batteries from damage, through added armored protection and spiral cell technology.
