  • Fullara Tala is one of the Shakti pith, out of 51 pith. Proverb says, during rescue Sita from RAVANA - Lanka, SriRamchandra worshipped Devi Durga, where Sri Ramchandra needed 108 BLUE LOTUS. Hanuman collected 108 Blue Lotus from the famous pond of Devi Fullara. That pond is still in existance. During FULLARA MAHA MELA, in February-March every year, People from very far used to take HOLY BATH. During late 50's and 60's when we were tiny tots, used to go to Mela with mother, to see CIRCUS, Bioscope, Magic show, NANDAN KANON KALA BHAWAN, Putul naach etc. Very famous attraction was BADAL BABU-R CINEMA/SATYA BABU-R CINEMA. Cinema hall used to made up of TAMBU(TENT) & BOSTA(CHAT). Ticket rate 3 ANNA (19 Naya Paisa). We used to enjoy those days like anything. One can have FULLARA MAYER BHOG. ---- MOHIT ---
