  • State camp sites are on the river side of the island. They are booked well in advance. (www.ct.gov to book a space) You can often "squat" on one mid-week or in the off season. They are usually all full on weekends in the summer. The back side or creek side of seldens is a good place for duck hunting durring the fall. The creek is a no-wake zone for its full length.
  • Camping is hella fun here. I recommend the Hogback site.
