Tuupala museum is a museum of rural buildings. The furnishing of the interior in the main house varies from the 1880s to 1960s, portraying the life on a family in Kainuu who inhabited the house. A store, an inn and a post office, among others, have operated in this house. There are four old log houses in the museum area, all in their original place. The main house is surrounded by a beautiful garden. In the courtyard, you can also find a tar boat.
