Monument to the Heroic Defenders of Leningrad in Victory Square designed by the architects of the USSR People's VA Kamensky, and SB Speransky and folk sculptor of the USSR M. Anikushin - participants in the defense of Leningrad.
Inauguration of the surface part of the monument took place on May 9, 1975 to the 30th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War.
