Birthplace of Heo Nanseolheon (1563–1589). Born Heo Chohui, she was a prominent Korean female poet of the mid Joseon dynasty. Heo Chohui was the older sister of Heo Gyun (1569–1618) who would also go on to become one of Korea's most important literary figures during this period. Her father was the mayor of Gyeongsang.
