Morong is a municipality in the province of Rizal in the Philippines. It had a population of 52,194 people as registered in the 2010 Census.

A popular attraction is Spanish-era St. Jerome's Parish Church. The town is also known for featuring the balaw-balaw side dish.

  • You will find at the entrance of the town an arc bearing the worsds, WELCOME TO MORONG, WHERE EDUCATION IS A PRIORITY. This town is the oldest town in Rizal having been founded by Franciscan fathers in 1578. This is where yoiu find the old baroque style of church. It was the first provincial capital of the province during the time that the province was known as Politico Distrito de Morong. It celebrated its 400 years in 1978. Presently it is already 430 years old as a christian town. This is one of the towns with the highest lityeracy rate. Three colleges are offering tertiary education such as University of Rizal system, Eastern Academy of Science and TEchnology and the pioneer in higher education in eastern Rizal, the Tomas Claudio Memorial College.

  • Hi to all who Morongeños. I actaully live in San Guillermo, I think the second high land in this town next to Bombongan. Hi din to my ex who lives in Raymundo St. Sa bayan. Hahaha know what? Mahal na mahal na mahal pa rin kita. Friends are asking why i always talk about my ex. Wala lang. I know she will never discover this - I hope :-) (This is a message board now hahaha) Anyone for a friend here?
