KONE PUKUR - it has so many stories . many many years ago when the ponds & canals of the area was connected with the Ganges , a boat carrying newly married couple sunk here ..... many people say - they have seen newly married women dressed with gold ornaments & bridal dress , walking on the pond side jungle area after midnight !!! Near by Gour Dham has also different stories.....
