Built as a monastary in 1914 for an order of French Nuns. From 1930 inhabited by the Fathers Oblaten from the Holy Franciscus of Sales. From 1970 the building had different functions (school, community centre). Partialy burned down in 2000.
In 2004-2006 it was rebuilt as an appartment building under archtecture design by Peter van Hoogmoed. The complete building is new, except for the front-outside wall and tower, that now act as a facade of the old monastary. The front of the building has decorative art from Marc Mulders: 6 panels of 6 photoprints of 120cm x 175cm of flowers and portraits of the Holy Mary, Jesus and Franciscus.
