"The Old Lady of D'Olier Street". This late 19th-century terrace, containing the offices of The Irish Times was restored in the 1990s. The first issue of The Irish Times appeared on 29 March 1859.
The offices featured a wonderful clock that had been rescued from a building that had been demolished, which became a symbol of the Times. The clock moved to the new Irish Times HQ at Tara Street in 2006. This building has since been re-purposed for mixed retail/residential use.
