Mounds View is a city of 12,738 (2000) in Ramsey County, Minnesota. It is a northern suburb of Minneapolis and St. Paul. The city was incorporated in 1958, and its early growth was as a housing center for workers at the nearby Twin Cities Arsenal. The arsenal has long since closed, but Mounds View is still mostly residential and houses people who work in other areas.
