The Denner Vineyard site has it all: rocky calcareous soils, proximity to the Pacific Ocean, access to the cooling ocean breezes of the Templeton Gap, and excellent exposures via careful row orientation.

The vineyard was planted in 1999 with twenty-five different small blocks. The layout and design were based upon the specific terroir and microclimates of each hillside exposure. Rootstocks and clones were matched to each block.

The Denners are dedicated to sustainable farming practices. They keep chemical fertilizers and herbicides to a minimum, no pesticides are used, they've established a permanent cover crop, and use minimal irrigation.

Denner Vineyards is a proud member of the Central Coast Vineyard Team, a consortium of growers committed to sustainable farming practices.

The 126 acre vineyard is planted to Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Viognier, Roussanne, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Zinfandel.
