Генеральский дом - General`s house or Дом со шпилем - The House with a steeple.

In this house Victor Choi lived. The Building with its tower which are under № 190 on Moskovsky Prospect, at the corner of Basin Street, were constructed before the war (architects Robert B. Rubanenko, GA Simonov, OI Gurev and Vasylkivsky SV).

The site was originally the workshop of Hidekelya Lazarus, but after his project (together with his brother Leo, 1938) raised strong objections, the work was transferred to GA Simonov. Among other things, it was decided to carry out an experiment in this quarter to introduce high-speed construction methods.

Several buildings were build during the winters of 1940-41, but, due to the war the project was postponed: the main body of the Moscow was managed to build, but the tower at the corner of Basin Street was added only after the war (probably with the draft by O.Gurieva ). The number of the tower is present in the original draft by G. Simonov - just assumed it was not as high (eight floors) and the reverse-fitted. In its draft basic cubic culmination of a disproportionately small octagonal lantern, which was put figure carrying mock ship over their heads
