M8 Danube bridge

Danube Bridge under construction. Part of the future M8 motorway connecting Road 8 with Dunaújváros, Kecskemét and Szolnok, crossing the M7, M6, M5 and future M4 motorways. Originally expected to be opened at the end of 2006, the bridge was brought to its final place in December 2006, after being assembled on the left (here east) shore. The motorway section will most probably open in June 2007.

  • Pentele bridge opened in June 2007. M8 motorway does not exisit now. The bridge is nice and unique. See: www.hid-egyesulet.hu (it is a lobby organization)
