estate (manor / mansion land), Grade II* Listed (UK)
Eggington House is the manor house of the village of Eggington situated near Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, England. An exquisite example of rare William III architecture, Eggigton House was built in 1696 for John Renouille, a Huguenot who later became Sheriff of Bedfordshire. It is a Grade II* listed building. From 1950 to 1976 it was the home of Sir Gilbert Inglefield, the 1967 Lord Mayor of London. Today it is the residence of late Lord Slynn, and his widow, Lady Slynn.
