Luano City is a new city project located north of Lubumbashi, Haut-Katanga Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Construction started in 2010. The developmental rights have been secured for the planned development of 3,000 residential units, 200,000 sq m of retail space, an 18-hole golf course with 60-room hotel and clubhouse, 3 business and luxury hotels, 300,000 sq m of commercial office and light industrial space, an education, medical, religious and consular precinct, Parks and Leisure Areas, Sport Stadiums, a Shipping Center with major SA Tenants, Including Restaurants , Conference Facilities and Investor Opportunities, and a Casino and Conference Center.
