Cizre (pronounced [ˈdʒizɾe]; Kurdish: Cizîr, Classical Syriac: ܓܙܝܪܐ Gzirā or Gziro) is a town and district of Şırnak Province in the Southeastern Anatolia Region of Turkey, on the Turkey-Syria border.
