Odaesan National Park (오대산국립공원) located in the province of Gangwon-do, South Korea, named after the 1,563-metre/5,128 ft mountain, Odaesan was designated as a national park in 1975.

The name "Odaesan" means "mountain of five plateaus," which refers to the five plateaus which stand between its five peaks. It spans 303.93㎢/117.348 mi² with annual visitors numbering about a million.
