The Großer Wannsee (Greater Wannsee) is a bight of the Havel river near the locality of Wannsee and Nikolassee (in the borough of Steglitz-Zehlendorf), a south-western suburb of the German capital Berlin not far from Potsdam. At its borders is located the island of Schwanenwerder and, opposite from the Greater Wannsee on the other side of the Havel, is the locality of Kladow (in Spandau).

The 2.732 km ² and up to 9 m deep Großer Wannsee is a bulge of the Havel River in the southwestern Berlin borough of Steglitz-Zehlendorf. Shortened it is referred to simply as "Wannsee", which can lead to confusion with the Kleiner Wannsee, which opens the first lake of the Griebnitzkanals on the south side of the Great Wannsee (at the Wannsee bridge) into this.
