  • Gamhariya is one of the 99 Villages Development Committee in Sarlahi District in the Janakpur Zone of south-eastern Nepal. It has a population of 7430 people living in 948 individual households. Area of the Village Development Committee is 8.843 km² and density of the Village is 840.2. Gamhariya is Village Development Committee, It has two additional villages small Palsi is 1 km east of the village and Ganeshiya is located at south of the village which is hardly 1 km. North Ganesiya is part of the Gamhariya identified by ward no – 6 and south part is located in other VDC is called Musaili. Total population of the village has 7430 male 4004 and female 2930. Ratio of the VDC is 60armers, 30 usiness men and rest of the population is job holder. Yearly GDP of VDC is 12 nd this is one of the developed and successful VDC of Sarlahi compare to others which is located at 2 kms far from head quarter of Sarlahi is called Malangwa. In north Salempur distance 2.5 kms, north-east Brahampur and sourth-east Bhelhi both are 3 kms from the Gamhariya and also 1 ktm far from Palsi. Similarly in west Aurahi is 2.5 kms far, north-west is Sagardina is 2.5 kms, south-west is Motipur which is 3 kms far and at last neighbor is located south which is head quarter of Sarlahi is called Malangwa Municipality hardly 2 kms.
