Volcán de Fuego

Translated as Volcano of Fire. Stratovolcano is one of the most active in Central America. Eruption in 2008 is still ongoing. Fuego has a summit elevation of 12,346 feet. Has had frequent eruptions since the onset of record keeping of the Spanish in 1524.
