Argo dam is one of a string of dams built by Detroit Edison along the Huron River in the early 20th century. It is
now owned by Ann Arbor. Unlike most of the dams, where the powerhouse was adjacent to the dam, the Argo
powerhouse is fed by a millrace that parallels the river for several blocks.
