Hi, this village(Goari, in apbhransh it is called Buari) is situated in Sonbarsa tehsil and Saharsa district of Mithila(Bihar). It is one of 59 villages in sonbarsa Block along with villages like Bargaon, Balia, Nonaiti, Bariban, Bathnaha, Barsham, Basanahi, Behta etc. Nearby railway station of Goari is Saharsa and Madhepura.
It has a famous Bajrangbali Temple and Laxminath Gosain Temple. It has also a Mahadev Temple Which has a Shivling and it is growing day-by-day. this shivling was brought by Late JayDev Jha and his friends from Bhatotar's forest. Firstly they had seen Mahadev and Parwati infront of themselves in forest. After sometimes those God disappeared. Then on they pray baba bhola and at last they got that Shivling.
Here Kojegara festival, which comes after 5 days of Dasahara puja, is celebrated by maa Laxmi, Saraswati & Mahadev Puja and we also take part in Drama, which is played in Maithili and Hindi, which is very famous in Saharsa district of Mithila. Drama's Founder:: Bangateshwar Mishra. Director:: Upendra Jha, Amarnath Chaudhari, Anchor:: Munchun Jha, Actors:: Pramod Jha, Subash Jha, Shalo Mishra, Shrikant Jha, Raman Kumar Jha, Miku Jha, Pawan Chaudhari etc. This village is famous for Unity. Beside this Kosi river is flowing. Generally we call it by Buari.
It has two Maithili and Hindi medium Government school. Tilaknath Sanskrit Middle School, Goari and Kanya Primary School, Goari. Tilaknath Sanskrit Middle School is one of the Oldest School in this area . It Established in 1976 Year . Total 36 batches completed in this School from past 36 years. Classes running in this is School are upto 8th. And it is Co-educational School. Tilaknath Snk.m.s.goari School is managed by Kanya Ms Bariwan named as its cluster.
We people celebrate many festivals as Holi, Diwali, Chhath, Laxmi Puja, Saraswati Puja, Baba Laxmi Gosain Puja, Maa Sita Puja etc. very unitedly.
As soon as possible, Goari needs a High School and Playground by which our child get educated and do best in Game.

  • We all know Maithili, Hindi and English language very good. But our Mother Toung is Maithili, which is also a National Language. We can do B.P.S.C. through Maithili.

  • I am really glad to see my village name in Google side. and i would like to say thnx to Mr.Raman who has describe about Goari village. One thing i want to mention in this blog . Our village and villagers are good but some people like Shanker Jha , Gudu Jha, Pholo Jha etc they all are basted.
