  • A beautiful place 3 km away from village Bandi (main Lora Maksood Road) situated at the top of the hills and near the famous stream Nadi Haro. The people of the village are very nice. I like this village.
  • Location My birth place with mountainous surroundings and jetting in to the confluence of two Nadi Haros (sizeable streams which provide reservoir behind Khanpur Dam). A village of app. 2500 population, is connected to Abbotabad and Murree by Lora-Maqsood Road. It is only one and half hour away from Islamabad via a recently completed direct access. As a boy, I grew up in the village and then had a rewarding journey of life. For education, I travelled to Lora, Karachi and finally to Peshawar from where I obtained a degree in Engineering. Following this, I travelled to Canada for higher education and a career in municipal governments in 3 provinces of Canada. In every return trip, I visit Dakhan Paisar to relive my past.
