Jeli Lagoon is based on loam and impermeable clays. Growing on the Lakeshore area are Eneas, Castanets, Taraje bushes and other types of shrub. A varied selection of wildlife feed here, amongst them are Patinegros Storks, Snowy Plover, Oyster Catchers, Black Tailed Godwit, Spoonbills, etc. Numerous types of Gull from the Bay of Cadiz are also to be seen here.
