Remains of a house built in the 17thC. The last royal person to live there was Princess Charlotte who was locked up there for refusing to marry the man chosen for her by her father King George IV.She would have been queen had she not died in childbirth as the only legitimate child of the Prince Regent (who allegedly had only slept with her mother on 3 occasions in the marriage so she was jolly lucky to have been born at all).
