This huge building was built in the earliest period of the history of Trier. this circus was a building for the exhibition of horse and chariot races, equestrian shows, staged battles, displays featuring trained animals, jugglers and acrobat. It measured 450 meter long. It was renovated in the first half of the second century and after 293.
