Khakurda Hut is one of the top ten Hut (Weekly Village Market) of Paschim Medinipur district.
What a Hut really can be- this is a perfect example.
From my childhood I am coming to this Hut with my Mama via a Bullock Cart from Laudungri Village, 7 km north to this hut. I am feeling sorry that now the Hut has been reduced by area due to encroaching permanent structures growing day by day.
