Originally Adams Hotel. The first Adams Hotel was built 1896, burned down 1910. Second Adams Hotel built 1911, torn down 1973. Third modern Adams Hotel was built in 1975. Later renamed the Phoenix Hilton, then the Sheraton Phoenix, then Crowne Plaza, then Wyndham, then Renaissance
