  • Jhigra (Khutian) is an old village. Before India Pakistan partition (1947) Chaudhry Sultan Ali Awan had lived here. They were Muslims (Suuni). Chaudhry Sultan Ali Awan was one of the major land owners in Desuya. He was son of Chaudhry Ali Bakhsh Awan. He has two sons Mehmood ul Hassan Awan & Nisar Ahmed Awan and four daughters. Whole family was happily lived in this village. In 1947, they migrated to Lahore and settled in Asal Guruke village in the eastern side of Lahore near India Pakistan border. (Iftikhar A.
