The Ralph Lauren's estate sports 300 acres of land, 180 of which is loan. Originally designed by Delano & Aldrich for Robert Ludlow Fowler, Jr. Delano & Aldrich designed a restrained French Norman–style residence, placed in a landscape designed by Fowler himself: a personal work that continued to evolve until his death in 1973. It wasn’t until the late 1980s, when the estate was in disrepair, that Lauren purchased it and set about restoring and updating the great old period mansion.

Huge property with beautiful stone wall lining the front entire front perimeter. Those pine trees that line the driveway are about 50 feet tall each, and periodically when one dies off they will buy a brand new mature one and truck it in on a spade-scoop so it doesn't look out of place with the others.
