Bychaŭ (also Bykhaw; Belarusian: Быхаў, IPA: ['bɨxaʊ], Polish: Bychów, Russian: Быхов; Łacinka: Bykhov) is a town in the western Belarusian oblast of Mogilev. It is located 44 km south of Mogilev on the Dnieper River, and is the administrative center of the Bykhov Region. The population is approximately 20,000 (1989).
