A very modern museum created by RusHydro in 2006. Based in a 3-storey building, a former administration office of Volgolag (Volga Labour Camp), located at Uglich Hydropower Plant. Exposition covers the development of hydropower engineering, Russian and world power industry projects, history of Volgolag, HPP equipment etc. Special tours for school kids of different grades and ages. Original interior design and wide use of multimedia. Nice and competent English-speaking guides.
