  this was the town of our ancestors Mehta Labhu Ram Sharma who had to leave the place and take refuge in Poonch during the nomadic invasion of 1947. They left with nothing but their intellect and courtesy this asset the family has grown to produce six doctrates,seven medical doctors and two engineers.
