Nautelankoski rapids

The area around Nautelankoski forms a uniquely harmonious whole, which is made up of the rapids themselves, its fly-fishing area, the surrounding nature, and the old water mill and the local history museum.
Stone age objects have been found in this area: proof that on this site there was habitation as early as 5000 years ago. The Nautelankoski site is a nature conservation area and part of the scenic national heritage landscape along the River Aura.
