Kabala railway station is located in Viru-Kabala, Vinni parish, Lääne-Virumaa. The broad-gauge railway Tallinn–Narva passes through Kabala. The railway station is located 121.9 km from Tallinn, 44.3 km from Tapa and 87.7 km from Narva. Elron passenger trains going east on the Tallinn–Narva route stop at the station. Two passenger trains stop in Kabala every day in both directions. The station has one short platform, so trains can only be boarded and exited through Zone C. The Kabala station building was completed together with the railway in 1870 and has survived to this day in a surprisingly authentic form. The two-storey wooden building in the Crown Historicism style was built according to a standard design for a class III-IV station, similar to the station buildings in Tapa, Paldiski, Keila, Püssi, Raasik and elsewhere. The station buildings are characterized by a low gable roof and an asymmetrical longitudinal façade with a higher gable central part dividing the building into one- and two-storey wings. 1990. The station building has not been used for many years and is in poor condition.
