Small sized junior school in Concession Zimbabwe. Named after a local witch who used to live in a small cave nearby - See site of interest to the SW - Amandas Hill with cave of the witch Amanda.

I lived at this school from 1974 to 1980 at the house to the south of the school. My father was the headmaster and mother taught kindergarten (KG1). Went back there for the last time just before I left Zimbabwe in 2006. School is now called Mbuya Nehanda but still has Amandas signs up (they can't afford new signs). There was a number of new classrooms built. Beit Hall looks OK from the outside but all the parquet flooring has listed. All Amandas Honour boards were still in place - even read my sister as headgirl 1978 - way to go Karen!! My old house an absolute ruin. Amazingly enough, still a lot of the old staff there who remembered me.
