Centralnaya Ploshad is the social center of the Bolshoye Murashkino. It helds the famous flower folk art shows, located around the former House of Young Pioneers, House of Culture, the key administrative buildings. During the collectivization local Bolshevik criminals had committed a monstrous act of barbarism - the old Orthodox church and cemetry was bulldozed, and they built a monument to Lenin and the House of Culture. Telecom works in the area in Soviet times often dug up the human remains.

Residents of the Bolshoye Murashkino nevertheless paying great respect and patience to the controverial and tragic history, and do seize to remove the statue of Lenin. Youngsters committed repeated acts of vandalism and hate towards Communist regime, by decapitating the monument in the 90s, when Lenins head was tored and stolen.
