The history of the settlement of Mishni village dates back to the time of Zangazur people. In time, the name of the village was Govurgala. "Mushkur" Turkish tribes lived here. His main occupations were animal husbandry, agriculture and beekeeping. Owners of property and authority lived in the castle itself. Around the castle lived their families - people who looked after their farms - servants, deputies. In the event of any aggression or danger, everyone would enter the fort and set fire to the fort to warn others to help. During the reign of the Albanian state, this village lived and kept its name. The word "govur" in the name is formed from the word "grave / grave" and means "fire-worshiping" fortress. Later, for some reason, the fortress was called Mishnigala, and the village built near it was called Mishniga.
