Twenty-five kilometers southwest of Hanko, at the entrance of the Gulf of Finland stands Scandinavias tallest lighthouse. Towering 52 meters above the sea, the lighthouse of Bengtskär is the archipelago`s most imposing and magnificient monument.
Scandinavia's highest lighthouse, Bengtskär, is one of the most popular sights in and around the Baltic Sea. The lighthouse, built in 1906 and repaired in the 1990's, warmly welcomes guests from near and far.
