Banking on forty years of commercial experience, Silver Swan Manufacturing Corp. (SSMC) proudly relishes the benefits of a consistent brand reputation. Its enduring success in the world market is the venerable legacy of its founder, SY Bun Suan, Food Manufacturer Awardee of 1953. Interestingly, "Silver Swan" was derived from his name.

From a small backyard operation in 1953, the erstwhile purveyor of fish sauce made huge strides in the development of other food sauces, emerging as the country's leader in soy sauce manufacture before going global in 1974.

Its consistent adherence to absolute international standards has earned for SSMC citations from the country's Bureau of Food and Drugs, and the US FDA for its impeccable sanitation controls. Management's thrust on expanding levels of automation has also allowed the company to pass with flying colors the world's measure for chemical and microbiological specifications.

Keeping abreast with the pace of food technology, SSMC acquired a pasteurizing machine (HTST) in 1986, followed by the Oliver Filter Press, which have assured sterilization and facilitated the once arduous process of manual soybean filtration.

In a highly competitive field, SSMC is not one to rest on its laurels. It regularly conducts in-store promotions and cooking demonstrations for both local and foreign consumers. To sustain the firm's advantage, an in-house R&D crew painstaking goes through the rigors of quality assurance and product development. And yet, caught up in the flux of innovation, SSMC relentlessly concocts varieties of quality sauces and condiments to keep up with the world's ever widening taste levels and preferences.
