The stone circles in this area are connected to the Wielbark Culture, 2000 years ago, which is generally believed to be identical with the Germanic Goths. The Wielbark Culture gradually replaced the Oksywie Culture. The archeological difference between these two cultures is of the burial tradition. The Oksywie had a cremated theirs deaths, the Wielbark had their deaths buried with typical stone circles.
