Municipal settlement in Kolpinsky District of the federal city of St. Petersburg, Russia. Population: 26,361 (2010 Census).
It was established in 1931 as a settlement for workers building Kolpino Metal Factory, which explains the name of the township, its first part meaning metal, and stroy meaning construction. First houses started to appear in the spring of 1932. The settlement was officially named Metallostroy on October 28, 1964.
