The second largest island of Pitcairn Islands. Adamstown, located on the central north of the island, is the only settlement of the Pitcairn Islands, with a population of about 46.
Pitcairn island was settled by the mutineers of the famous " Mutiny on the Bounty" after they sunk the ship Bounty in Bounty Bay.
