It is the largest play ground in jhargram except the Jhargram stadium.We used to play cricket tournament over here.During kali pujo dashera or "Raban pora also held here".The people of purotan jhargram are arranged a durgapujo in this ground.This pujo takes 1st to fourth place amongst the pujos held in jhargram.

Dear writer this is not Rajader Math but is Raja Raghunath Memorial Sporting Ground since it's inception in 1918.It had been a host to some of the most prestigious sporting events in the History of West Bengal and Midnapore District.
