This is the site of the demolished Salisbury Mall.

Built in 1968, and expanded in the 1970s, this was the first enclosed mall on the Delmarva Peninsula. In its heyday it included Hecht's, Sears and Hutzler's. Hutzler's went out of business in the late 1980s, but their retail space was replaced by Peebles. Hecht's and Sears left for the new mall, the Centre at Salisbury, in the early 1990s.

The Mall closed in 2003 and was demolished in 2007, but legal battles between the owners and contractors have left the site vacant.
