Kauppi Sports Park (Tampere)

Kauppi Sports Park is a large leisure park near the city centre favoured by many keep-fit enthusiasts. There are about 32 km of illuminated activity routes, fields for football and Finnish baseball, five tennis courts, a private bowling hall, a greyhound track and an archery field. In the wintertime, the activity paths turn into skiing routes and the football fields into a skiing stadium.
There are four fields with a natural surface and two fields with an artificial surface. A third field with an artificial surface will be opened in May 2006. The varied terrain in Kauppi Sports Park is ideal for all joggers.
