The Grund is, next to Clausen, one of the oldest parts of Luxembourg City. Over the past 20 years it has been transformed into a very lively place with several popular bars. If you want to check out the night life then I recommend that you leave your car up the town, the narrow streets in the Grund very quickly become congested on Friday/Saturday nights and finding a parking spot is near impossible. You can use the parking and lift provided on the Place du St Esprit. This will take you to the bottom through the rock. A tunnel then leads you out to the bridge.
